Paul Hobson, the General Manager of The Sahara, said that the space where the poker room is located will be used for additional slot machines, including an area where players can play new test games.

Worse part was employees were barely getting 3 weeks notice.. some were told via text... message... And closing the room right before the holidays... How sad is that they count on you being a good employee.. They want 2 week notice if you quit but give you 3 weeks and take away your lively hood. They sad part is all the guest you meet and friends you made now that's all taken away from you.
ReplyDeletePeople who worked there are not getting any severance or moved to other jobs?
ReplyDeleteTo the best of my knowledge they were using table games dealers so no one is losing their job. They'll just go back to the pits and not Neil poker.
ReplyDeleteThose are not table game dealers they are just wearing the same uniforms. I play there those dealers have years of experience some are new but most of them have been there
ReplyDeleteawhile. You obviously don't play there alot the people on nights are some new dealers.. couple of them have pit experience.. Some dealers have experiences from the Wynn to Rio with some have WSOP experience. The biggest problem stems back to pit leadership I've never seen and bosses or poker Mgr in the room. I've wrote to there "mgr" before and no response after 3 weeks of trying to get response from him got no answer so I have up and went elsewhere.. Those dealers worked hard and Management just plan out failed them...
